On the 16th at 10:30 a.m., the city signed a "Joint Cooperation Agreement for the Successful Hosting of the 103rd National Sports Festival and the 42nd National Para Sports Festival" in the situation room on the 7th floor of the city hall main building.
The signing ceremony was held with representatives and officials from 21 institutions including Ulsan City, the Office of Education, the City Sports Council, and the Chamber of Commerce in attendance.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲support for human and material resources from each institution ▲creating an atmosphere of voluntary participation in the local community ▲promoting a boom in volunteer activities and establishing a support system ▲advancing sports development ▲and cooperating in the promotion of the two major sports festivals.
In particular, through this agreement, Ulsan City plans to establish an organic cooperative system among the signatories and take a central role in making the two major sports festivals a moving event that raises local pride and fosters harmony among citizens.
A city official said, "Through this agreement, we hope it will serve as a valuable milestone for the successful hosting of the National Sports Festival and as a new starting point for mutual cooperation among institutions, enabling Ulsan to take a step forward and achieve greater development."
