UK Ministry of Defence: Russian Military Can Maintain Combat Power for About 14 More Days
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunwoo Lee] The UK Ministry of Defence has projected that the Russian military will only be able to maintain combat effectiveness for another 10 to 14 days, after which their combat power will sharply decline. The morale of the Russian forces has significantly dropped due to unexpectedly strong resistance from the Ukrainian army, and severe losses in ground forces have led to worsening shortages of personnel and equipment.
On the 14th (local time), the UK Daily Mail, citing sources from the Ministry of Defence, reported, "The Russian military will only be able to maintain full combat capability for 10 to 14 more days," adding, "The Russian forces are already suffering from shortages of personnel and equipment, and as the war enters its third week, most ground attacks have been halted."
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also emphasized in a public video, "We have inflicted tremendous losses on the Russian military, destroying hundreds of helicopters, tanks, and equipment," and stressed, "Since the beginning of the conflict, Russia has suffered more damage than in the two wars fought in Chechnya."
