Gwangju Changgyeong Center, Recruiting Startups for Youth Entrepreneurship Support Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Youth Startup Support Program' until the 4th of next month.
This project is promoted with the support of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Gwangju City to pave the way for the continuous growth and stable settlement of early-stage youth startups in the region, to revitalize the local economy, and to create new jobs.
Applicants must be youth representatives within 7 years of startup who employ at least one youth aged 39 or younger in the region. 19 youth startup companies will be selected and provided with up to 15 million KRW in commercialization funds needed for ▲prototype production ▲intellectual property application and registration ▲promotion and marketing ▲material costs, and additionally, ▲practical startup education ▲expert mentoring will be offered to strengthen the capabilities of the founders.
The recruitment fields include four regional specialties: ▲Gwangju's main industries (intelligent home appliances / optical convergence / smart mold / digital bio-medical) ▲artificial intelligence ▲local creators ▲social ventures.
