KT Offers 3 Months Free Access to 'YouTube Premium' Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT announced on the 15th that it will run a promotion offering its mobile customers a 3-month free trial of the 'YouTube Premium' service for about two years until February next year.
YouTube Premium is a service that allows uninterrupted viewing of all videos and music on YouTube, the global video community, without ads. By using YouTube Premium, users can watch videos without ads, save videos for offline viewing, and play videos in the background even when opening other apps or turning off the screen on mobile devices.
This promotion is available to all KT mobile customers aged 19 or older, regardless of the type of subscription plan, and customers can use the YouTube Premium service free of charge for 3 months from the application date.

Google accounts currently using or previously used for 'YouTube Red,' 'YouTube Premium,' or 'YouTube Music Premium' are not eligible for the 3-month free trial. Even if a cancellation request is made during the 3-month free period, the service can be used free of charge for the remaining period. If no cancellation request is made, the service will automatically convert to a paid subscription after 3 months, with a monthly fee of 10,450 KRW.
