LG CNS Launches Pilot Service 'Harujogak' for Daily Life Management Using Data
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] LG CNS announced on the 15th that it will launch a pilot service for the MyData (personal credit information management) application ‘Harujogak’.
The newly released LG CNS ‘Harujogak’ is the first MyData service introduced by a company in the IT industry. ‘Harujogak’ gathers scattered customer data fragments such as bank accounts, card payment details, online electronic payment records, offline store visit information, YouTube viewing history, portal search history, and customer schedules all in one place.
Utilizing both financial and non-financial data, it is a diary-style ‘life log’ service that automatically records and manages moments customers want to remember as data. ‘Harujogak’ collects customer data only with the customer’s consent and does not use the data for any purpose other than the MyData service through ‘Harujogak’. Customers can select and link only the data areas they want through the application settings.
‘Harujogak’ collects and organizes customer data to provide an easy-to-view overview of the customer’s past activities. Customers do not need to check various apps such as bank apps, card apps, schedule apps, or SNS individually; they can find records at once through the ‘Harujogak’ app. For example, if a customer cannot remember a “50,000 KRW card payment last Saturday,” they can check at once where, with whom, and what it was used for through ‘Harujogak’.
Customers can discover their lifestyle or consumption patterns through the collected data and receive support for wise spending. For example, if a customer sets “spend only 1,000,000 KRW on living expenses this month,” the app aggregates various payment statuses and provides real-time spending guidance to achieve the goal.
‘Harujogak’ also selects and shows the customer’s top 10 interest keywords for the month, such as ‘#Matjip (famous restaurants)’ and ‘#Banryeodongmul (pets)’. In the future, it plans to offer discount information and purchase-linked services for products analyzed based on customer interests.
Starting with ‘Harujogak,’ the first service on the MyData platform, LG CNS plans to sequentially launch MyData services in various fields including healthcare, telecommunications, and distribution. The official version of ‘Harujogak,’ scheduled for release in July this year, will also include a ‘data-based health management’ service in collaboration with GC Care and LG Uplus.
LG CNS’s MyData platform is an open platform, and the company is promoting B2B MyData businesses in the form of ‘data management’ and ‘data brokerage’ to enable platform-based personalized services through cooperation with companies in various fields.
