Please Name the Busan Port Vehicle Entry and Exit Reservation System! ... BPA National Public Contest Announcement
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Port Authority (BPA) is holding a naming contest for the Vehicle Booking System currently applied at Busan Port.
The Vehicle Booking System was developed to reduce truck waiting times within the terminal and improve terminal operation efficiency by allowing trucks carrying containers to reserve the cargo and time for entry and exit before arriving at the terminal.
This contest, held to increase public and port stakeholders' awareness of the Vehicle Booking System and promote its use, will run for three weeks from the 14th to the 1st of the following month.
Participants should submit easy-to-pronounce and memorable names that well reflect the characteristics of the Vehicle Booking System, which is being applied for the first time at a domestic port, Busan Port. Any citizen of the Republic of Korea can participate online.
BPA plans to select winners in May through three rounds of judging, including a public vote, awarding 2,000,000 KRW to one grand prize winner, 500,000 KRW to one excellence prize winner, and 300,000 KRW to one encouragement prize winner.
