Jeongeup-si to Recruit 'Youth Festival Promotion Planning Team' Until the 25th

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeongeup Youth Support Center Cheongjeongjidae in Jeonbuk Jeongeup City is recruiting the '2022 Jeongeup Youth Festival Promotion Planning Group' to directly plan and create the youth festival by the 25th.

According to the city on the 14th, the Youth Festival Promotion Planning Group will be composed of local youth who will take the lead in planning and participating in the operation of the youth festival held in September to celebrate Youth Day.

The city plans to set the basic direction and slogan of the festival and organize operating programs, incorporating ideas from youth in each field to create the youth festival.

The eligibility for application is youth aged 18 to 39 residing in Jeongeup City.

Youth who wish to participate can download the application form from the Jeongeup Youth Support Center Cheongjeongjidae website and apply.

The city will select 8 people through screening and plans to start full-scale activities of the promotion group from next month. The finally selected youth will receive a certificate of activity and a participation allowance for operation meetings.

A city official said, "We hope the Youth Festival Planning Group will become a place of communication for youth residing in Jeongeup," and added, "We hope that through a festival planned and operated directly by youth, they can establish themselves as members of society within the region."

Meanwhile, the Jeongeup Youth Support Center Cheongjeongjidae operates various projects such as job projects for prospective youth, youth festivals, discovering youth instructors, and employment competency enhancement education under the slogan "When youth grow, the future of the region grows" to support stable living for youth in Jeongeup.
