"Squid Game" won the Best Foreign Language Series and Best Actor in a Drama awards at the 27th Critics Choice Awards held on the 14th (Korean time) at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles (LA), USA.
On this day, Lee Jung-jae was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama alongside Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Mike Colter (Evil), Brian Cox (Succession), Jeremy Strong (Succession), and Billy Porter (Pose), and was announced as the winner.
Taking the stage, Lee Jung-jae exclaimed, "Oh my GOD," expressing his excitement. He then said, "I don't know how to express this joy. Thank you."
