[Featured Stock] LG Energy Solution, Down for 2 Consecutive Trading Days After Inclusion in KOSPI 200
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] LG Energy Solution has been plummeting for two consecutive trading days. This is attributed to a surge in sell orders after being included in the KOSPI 200 index, which allows short selling.
As of 9:45 AM on the 14th, LG Energy Solution is trading at 366,000 KRW, down 6.39% (25,000 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.
LG Energy Solution recorded its highest price of 598,000 KRW intraday after its listing on January 27. Since then, the stock price declined but remained above 400,000 KRW. However, after being included in the KOSPI 200 on the 11th, the price fell below the 400,000 KRW level.
