Gyeonggi-do Provides Customized Support for Marketing and Commercialization of Outstanding Women-Owned Businesses
Support Up to 8 Million KRW Per Company After Selecting 31 Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province announced on the 11th that "starting this year, it will implement a customized support project targeting excellent women-owned companies in the province with innovative capabilities and growth potential."
The province plans to select and support 31 companies through quantitative and in-depth evaluations of capabilities such as technological performance and innovation among women-owned companies located in Gyeonggi Province with more than three years of business experience.
The final selected companies can receive customized support for marketing and commercialization programs up to a maximum of 8 million KRW per company.
The main support programs include 12 categories such as ▲building promotional foundations (catalogs, websites, etc.) ▲SNS and online marketing ▲participation in exhibitions and fairs ▲expert consulting ▲professional training ▲product design ▲design ▲overseas patents ▲domestic and international standard certifications.
In particular, based on the evaluation results, the top five companies will be awarded the Gyeonggi Province Governor's Award. Marketing and commercialization support funds will also be provided up to 10 million KRW, which is 25% more than the general selected companies.
The selection evaluation criteria include technological capability, item innovation, business plan feasibility, and expected effects.
Companies that have obtained certification as promising small and medium enterprises by the province, are among the top 100 excellent companies in job creation, or have technology innovation (Inno-Biz) certification can receive additional points.
However, companies that violate major laws in four areas?fair trade, labor, environment, and taxation?are not eligible to participate.
