He continued, "The government must respond to the demands of the times and humbly follow the will of the people. This country must move toward the future, not the past," and stated, "I will do my best to work with President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol to build a 'Better Republic of Korea' that is fair, sensible, and leads to the future and national unity."
