Ministry of Employment Offers Free 'Remote Work Consulting' for Small and Medium Enterprises
The government will provide free consulting services to companies wishing to implement remote work.
On the 10th, the Ministry of Employment and Labor announced that it is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Comprehensive Remote Work Consulting' program targeting small and medium-sized enterprises. The first recruitment period is three weeks, from the 11th to the 29th of this month. Selected companies will receive free consulting for 12 weeks.
The consulting covers the scope of implementation, operational methods, suitable job diagnosis necessary for adopting remote work, and the establishment of personnel and labor management systems related to remote work. It also assists in building IT infrastructure required for remote work. The consulting is free of charge.
Although the adoption rate of remote work has steadily increased since the spread of COVID-19, many companies still face difficulties due to lack of knowledge on how to implement it or adopting remote work without systematic preparation. In response, the government has been publishing and distributing the 'Comprehensive Remote Work Manual' since 2020 and has been promoting comprehensive remote work consulting.
