Golden Blue Launches In-Flight Duty-Free Promotion for Taiwanese Whiskey 'Kavalan'
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Golden Blue announced on the 10th that it will conduct an in-flight duty-free promotion for the Taiwanese single malt whiskey 'Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Single Cask Strength (Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique)'.
Golden Blue began selling Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique in Korean Air's in-flight duty-free shops last January, and from this month, it is running advertisements and a 15% discount event.
Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique is a single malt whiskey aged in American oak wine barrels. Before aging the whiskey, the casks are charred and re-burned, resulting in a rich aroma combining vanilla, dark chocolate, and citrus fruits, with a clean yet sweet taste.
