GLB Tech Expands Supply of Practical Yellow Lighting for Semiconductor Companies' Exposure Rooms...Improving Work Efficiency
Improving Production Site Environment by Increasing Color Temperature
Reducing Energy Costs and Lowering Work Fatigue
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] GLBtech, a specialized LED light source company for industrial use and smart farms, announced on the 7th that it will expand the supply of 'Yellow' lighting for photolithography rooms with new technology applied to global semiconductor, OLED, and PCB manufacturers.
Photolithography room lighting is used in semiconductor manufacturing processes to block certain wavelengths. Existing yellow lighting methods involve attaching yellow films to general lighting surfaces or mixing yellow dyes into PC or acrylic covers to block wavelengths below a specific threshold. These methods have drawbacks such as cost burdens and potential damage from external heat or impact.
GLBtech's new yellow lighting uses a self-developed technology without foreign materials like films or dyes. It achieves color solely through LED packaging technology, preventing the issues of previous methods. By lighting with the brightest possible color temperature, it offers advantages such as improving the process stability of photolithography rooms and the lighting environment in production sites.
The company explained that by improving luminous efficiency by more than 50% compared to existing lighting, it provides an environment that can reduce users' energy costs. Lighting with a brighter yellow color temperature raised from 2450K to 2950K reduces workers' fatigue and increases work efficiency.
