View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Kosin University Gospel Hospital held a ‘Mission, Vision, and Core Values Proclamation Ceremony’ on the 3rd floor of Hospital Building 1 on the 7th.
The proclamation ceremony was attended by a minimal number of people in accordance with the spread of Omicron and quarantine guidelines, and proceeded in the order of prayer by Chaplain Kim Young-dae, opening remarks by Planning and Coordination Director Choi Jong-sun, commemorative speech by Hospital Director Oh Kyung-seung, and proclamation of mission, vision, and core values.
Kosin University Hospital introduced its mission as “Practicing patient-centered treatment, evangelism, and education through the love of Jesus Christ to contribute to the health and happy lives of all humanity and to spread the gospel of Christ.”
It also presented its vision as “A hospital trusted for patient-centered care, a hospital that spreads the gospel for soul salvation, a hospital that cultivates respected medical personnel, and the best relief hospital.”
Four core values were also proclaimed: ‘Innovation and Self-Leadership, Recovery and Future Orientation, Communication and Mutual Trust, Love and a Good Hospital.’
Hospital Director Oh Kyung-seung said, “Kosin University Hospital has reached its current state because all faculty and staff have worked hard based on the founding philosophy and vision started by Dr. Jang Gi-ryeo over the past 70 years,” and “I commend the dedication of the staff who have not ignored the difficulties in operating screening clinics, residential treatment centers, and home treatment centers during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Director Oh added, “Let all faculty and staff engrave the new vision and core values that will lead the hospital’s future deeply in their hearts without settling for the present, and repay the community with sincere medical services,” and “In the rapidly changing medical environment, our task is to leap forward as a hospital with competitiveness in the smart health field.”
In the core values contest held for all faculty and staff, Section Chief Lee Eun-jin of the QPS Office won the award.
Kosin University Hospital is in charge of operating the Eco Delta City Smart Village Wellness Center and is conducting a smart safe health management demonstration project targeting vulnerable groups in the local community combined with the 4th industrial revolution, as well as a cross-ministerial medical convergence innovation project.
