[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Dongwon F&B announced on the 7th that it is launching a high-end home meal replacement (HMR) lineup called ‘Yangban Sura Signature’ and introducing three new soup and stew products: Goryeo Ginseng Galbitang, Wando Abalone Miyeokguk, and Hanwoo Seollongtang. The weight of the three soup and stew products is 460g, and the price is 8,480 KRW.
Yangban Sura Signature is a premium lineup that enhances the taste and flavor of Korean cuisine by using high-quality domestic specialty ingredients such as Korean ginseng, Wando abalone, and Hoengseong Hanwoo beef. Compared to the existing premium HMR lineup ‘Yangban Sura,’ the taste and quality of raw materials have been elevated to a higher level. Yangban Sura Signature is made using the traditional cauldron method, where carefully selected natural ingredients are stirred together and boiled, following the ‘Yangban’ brand philosophy that ‘the ingredients must be alive for the taste to come alive.’ The cauldron method shortens the heat treatment time by more than 20% compared to conventional methods, enhancing the texture of the ingredients and the flavor of the broth.
The newly introduced products include ‘Yangban Sura Goryeo Ginseng Galbitang,’ which contains domestic fresh ginseng and large pieces of rib meat; ‘Yangban Sura Wando Abalone Miyeokguk,’ a refreshing seaweed soup made with domestic seaweed and clam broth, with whole Wando abalone added; and ‘Yangban Sura Hanwoo Beef Seollongtang,’ a rich broth made from deeply simmered Hanwoo beef bones, generously filled with Hoengseong Hanwoo beef meat.
