Chairman Jang Sang-su stated, "Since this supplementary budget is more important than ever, we will carefully examine whether necessary projects for restoring citizens' daily lives and supporting the livelihood economy are included and whether the budget size is appropriate." He added, "I hope the opinions presented during the council's review process will be fully reflected so that projects can be implemented in a better direction for the citizens. Amid the complex situations of livelihood, economy, and Omicron, I ask the executive branch to do their best in quarantine and economic revitalization to provide some comfort to the citizens and increase their happiness index."
