IBK Industrial Bank, Non-face-to-face New Enrollment Service for Retirement Pensions... First in the Financial Sector
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] IBK Industrial Bank of Korea is launching the financial sector's first non-face-to-face new subscription service for corporate retirement pension plans (DB and DC types).
According to IBK on the 6th, companies previously had to submit written consent forms from their active employees when newly enrolling in corporate retirement pension plans, which was cumbersome. With the introduction of this service, electronic signature consent forms can now be completed and submitted via mobile devices.
When a company submits the employee details for retirement pension enrollment to the bank, the branch sends a KakaoTalk notification service to collect digital consent forms from the employees.
In particular, for the DC type (Defined Contribution), employees no longer need to visit the branch in person to select investment products; they can authenticate themselves and choose investment products via mobile.
