Wanju-gun's Integrity Mileage Program Stands Out!
Jeonbuk Province Ranks First Among Counties in Evaluation... Praised for Establishing Anti-Corruption System and Operating Integrity Citizen Auditors
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 3rd that it was selected as the top county-level in the 2021 Integrity Mileage Operation Evaluation conducted by Jeollabuk-do.
The Integrity Mileage System is a system that awards mileage to employees and departments actively participating in integrity activities, serving as an autonomous internal control system for a clean organizational culture among public officials.
Wanju County is actively promoting anti-corruption and integrity policies by establishing 15 detailed tasks in three areas: building an anti-corruption system, strengthening integrity education, and establishing an integrity culture last year.
Integrity education is conducted for all employees, and the integrity self-learning system and the Integrity Citizen Auditor system are operated, with the first Tuesday of every month designated as Integrity Day.
Above all, various efforts are being made to spread the integrity culture within the organization and improve integrity by discovering and promoting integrity policies tailored to the characteristics of each department.
Meanwhile, Wanju County was selected as the second highest grade in comprehensive integrity, the highest grade in Jeonbuk, in the 2021 Public Institution Integrity Evaluation conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
