Assemblyman Yoon Young-deok Appeals to Actively Participate Not Only in Blood Donation but Also in Early Voting
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The Democratic Party of Korea's Gwangju Dong-gu Nam-gu Gap Regional Committee launched a campaign to win local votes by conducting a 'Love Blood Donation Campaign' alongside a 'Early Voting Encouragement' movement.
On the 3rd, National Assembly member Yoon Young-deok, party members, and campaign workers from the Dongnam Gap Regional Committee held a group blood donation campaign titled 'Donate Blood for Me! Donate Blood and Vote Early!' at the Saturday Market in Juwol-dong, Nam-gu, Gwangju (behind Bixpo).
Representative Yoon said, "This campaign was organized to overcome the severe blood shortage situation, which has reached the level of a social disaster," and added, "I sincerely express my gratitude and respect to all those working behind the scenes to overcome COVID-19."
He further stated, "I hope that not only local party members but also citizens will participate in blood donation so that it can help emergency patients whose lives are at risk, ensuring that this event is not just a one-time occurrence."
He also added, "The early voting for the 20th presidential election will take place from the 4th to the 5th. I ask everyone to actively participate in early voting to establish a competent and empowering 4th Democratic government for peace, human rights, livelihood, and the future, through the power of Gwangju citizens."
