President Moon to Chair NSC Today... Discussing Security Threats Including Ukraine Invasion Situation
[Asia Economy Military Specialist Reporter Yang Nak-gyu, Reporter Lee Ji-eun] President Moon Jae-in will hold an expanded National Security Council (NSC) meeting with related ministers at the Blue House on the morning of the 3rd.
The meeting will be held under the name '2021∼2030 Security Threat Outlook Report', and it is expected that issues such as security instability caused by the Ukraine situation and the reorganization of the international order will be discussed. In particular, discussions on economic measures, including sanctions against Russia and minimizing domestic impacts due to the deterioration of global supply chains, are also expected to take place.
Additionally, ministers responsible for diplomacy and security, along with Blue House aides, will gather to proactively review security threats over the next approximately 10 years until 2030 and seek countermeasures.
