Gwangju Reports 6,998 New COVID-19 Cases... Consecutive Daily Record Highs Set

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 3rd, 6,998 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in a single day yesterday.
Among them, 6,994 were locally transmitted cases, and 4 were imported cases.
The main infection routes include 19 cases related to a hospital in Dong-gu, increasing the cumulative total to 94.
There were 18 cases related to a nursing home in Buk-gu, and 2 additional cases at a nursing hospital in Gwangsan-gu, raising the total to 29.
The rest were infections through contact with acquaintances and family members or cases where the infection route was not identified.
