AP Technology Launches New Human Milk Oligosaccharide Product 'Mamstamin HMO Chewable'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] ApitechnoLogy, a human milk oligosaccharide (HMO) company, announced on the 3rd that it has launched a new product, ‘Momstamin HMO Chewable,’ designed for enhanced convenience.
An ApitechnoLogy representative explained, "The product is scheduled to be stocked at Amazon as well as pharmacies and health supplement stores in the Korean Town of California," adding, "We also plan to introduce the product on Shopee, the largest e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia."
Momstamin HMO Chewable features an orange flavor to eliminate resistance to supplements and is designed in a chewable form for ease of consumption. It contains human milk oligosaccharides that support gut, immune, and brain health, as well as papaya enzyme, vitamin C, and zinc. The company has set a strategy to dominate domestic and international markets by emphasizing the efficacy and excellence of human milk oligosaccharides.
A company representative stated, "Recently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the status of K-bio has risen in various fields such as bio diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare," and introduced that "interest in human milk oligosaccharides based on domestic bio technology has also increased."
Since its establishment in 2001, ApitechnoLogy developed the world’s first bio-process technology for producing human milk oligosaccharides (2‘-FL). After obtaining international patents for the technology, it received GRAS certification for food ingredients from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

ApitechnoLogy has completed the establishment of a human milk oligosaccharide production plant in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. It has secured an annual production capacity of 100 tons and plans to expand the factory.
