"Find the Past of Boseong" Boseong-gun, Old Memory Photo Contest
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Boseong-gun Old Memory Photo Contest' over two months until the 29th of next month.
The contest targets photos taken in the Boseong-gun area before 1990, including black-and-white and color photos capturing local buildings, landscapes, streets, and daily life.
Any South Korean citizen who cherishes old memories of Boseong-gun can participate, and up to three photos per person can be submitted.
Submissions can be made by visiting the general affairs department of the nearest eup/myeon office, or by mail or email.
A total of 500 winning entries will be selected through screening, and a commemorative gift worth about 10,000 KRW will be given per photo.

The 'Boseong-gun Old Memory Photo Contest' is a project aimed at reviving the old scenes of our lives that are disappearing amid development and progress and being forgotten in memories, and at discovering memory materials contained in faded photos to be used as resources to re-examine the historical and cultural value of Boseong-gun.
