Mirae Asset Securities Reveals Five-Part Global Thematic Investment Series on YouTube This Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Mirae Asset Securities announced on the 2nd that it has released the global thematic investment series on blockchain and the digital economy for this year through its YouTube channel 'Smart Money.'
Comprising a total of five episodes, this content was created in collaboration with Mirae Asset Securities and the global asset management firm Global X to forecast and analyze the latest trends in innovative themes and related industries as seen from the U.S. market. To make it easier for customers to understand, complex charts were simplified with CG processing, and English interviews with American analysts were dubbed into Korean by professional voice actors.
The first episode on blockchain consists of two parts (Blockchain and NFT outlook), featuring Han Dong-hoon, Director of Asia Strategy at Global X, who explained the characteristics of blockchain technology and the growth potential of the related market, using the currently hot topic of global supply chain issues as an example.
The second episode on the digital economy features May De, an analyst at Global X, who explained the meaning and value of the digital economy, as well as industries such as cloud computing, social commerce, and the metaverse, which have accelerated changes since the COVID-19 pandemic. Analyst May De emphasized that "the digital economy will become the top contributor to the future U.S. GDP." Episodes 1 and 2 have surpassed approximately 55,000 cumulative views since their release.
Meanwhile, the remaining three videos are scheduled to be sequentially released on Mirae Asset Securities' YouTube channel, starting with "Robotics and AI" (Episode 3) on the 5th, followed by "Climate Change" on the 19th, and "Mobility" (Episode 5) on the 26th of this month.
