View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] The Small Enterprise and Market Service announced on the 2nd that it received the Prime Minister's Commendation in recognition of its contribution to spreading anti-corruption and integrity culture.
The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission has designated February 27 as Anti-Corruption Day since 2013 and commemorates it annually. Each year, it selects institutions that have contributed to spreading anti-corruption and integrity culture and enhancing civil rights.
Last year, the Small Enterprise and Market Service selected improving integrity levels as a key task. According to the Service, it made company-wide efforts to enhance integrity, including the introduction of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO37001).
In the 2021 comprehensive integrity evaluation of public institutions conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, the Small Enterprise and Market Service improved by one grade in all evaluation categories. It also rose by one grade in the anti-corruption policy evaluation.
