Gyeonggi Office of Education Expands Legal Advisors from 15 to 25

On the 2nd, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced that it will increase the number of legal advisors from the previous 15 to 25 to promptly respond to the rapidly increasing litigation tasks and improve the quality of legal advisory services.
The legal advisors affiliated with the Superintendent of Education, who serve a two-year term, perform roles such as providing legal advice related to educational administration and supporting litigation. In particular, the previously integrated online legal advisory service has been subdivided into school violence, student rights, teacher rights infringement, and general legal advice.
Additionally, the Gyeonggi Office of Education has improved its website service to be more convenient for use in a mobile environment.
Han Geun-su, Administrative Management Officer of the Gyeonggi Office of Education, emphasized, "We have reorganized the operation system of legal advisors to be region-centered and strengthened the online legal advisory service to be user-centered. We will continue to do our best to support prompt responses to the gradually increasing legal issues based on field opinions."
