Shinsegae Simon Strengthens Outlet VIP Service... "Targeting High-Purchasing Power Customers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Shinsegae Simon announced on the 2nd that it will open a 'Premium Service' for valued customers at Paju Premium Outlets on the 3rd. It is the first in the industry to establish VIP service infrastructure such as exclusive lounges and parking zones across all stores.
Shinsegae Simon introduced premium services at Yeoju Premium Outlets in 2019. As a result, the number of premium members, the VIP customer tier, increased by more than 60% last year, and the sales proportion also doubled compared to before the service was implemented. In the second half of this year, the service will be expanded to Siheung Premium Outlets.
The criteria for selecting premium members have changed from individual stores to an integrated system across all stores, granting premium member status to customers who purchase over 10 million KRW. Additionally, the premium service offers a wide range of benefits in three areas that VIP customers find most satisfying: exclusive lounges, parking zones, and appreciation events.
At the premium lounge, customers can enjoy a classy resting space along with complimentary beverages and snacks, and at the premium parking zone, they can conveniently use exclusive parking spaces. They also offer a birthday gift that allows free use of a food and beverage store once a year, as well as discount benefits through partnerships with Chosun Hotel & Resort and Jeju Shinhwa World.
