On the 28th, the Seoul Gwanak Police Station announced that they applied for an arrest warrant on the 27th against a woman in her 30s, identified as Ms. A, on charges of special assault.
Ms. A is accused of wielding a weapon at her boyfriend, a man in his 20s, who was trying to leave the house after an argument around 10 a.m. on the 26th.
The victim sustained injuries to his shoulder and other areas and was transported to the hospital, but his life is not in danger. Ms. A was arrested on the spot by police officers who responded to the scene.

A police official stated, "Considering the victim's statement and the situation at the scene, Ms. A was arrested as a suspect caught in the act, and an arrest warrant was requested. The pre-arrest interrogation (warrant hearing) is currently underway since this afternoon."
