The Seocho Police Station in Seoul arrested a man in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
Mr. A is suspected of taking drugs at a hotel in Seocho-gu, Seoul, around 11:10 a.m. on the 9th.
At the time, Mr. A reportedly called 112 and said that someone had injected him with poison and that he could not move his body.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that he purchased the drugs through Telegram. The police found drug powder and syringes in Mr. A's bag.

Meanwhile, a police official stated, "We have entrusted the National Forensic Service with a detailed analysis of the drug components," and added, "Once the results are out, Mr. A will be sent to prosecution without detention."
