Chungnam, Asan and 4 Other Cities and Counties Selected for 'Community-Centered Care Organization' Contest
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province announced on the 28th that four cities and counties?Asan, Dangjin, Yesan, and Hongseong?have been selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s public service linkage enhancement project for residents' daily life sites.
The four cities and counties, including Asan, were selected in the category of the ‘Village Community-Centered Care Organization Development Project,’ which develops a specialized model that links care organizations voluntarily formed by residents with public services.
Through this project, Asan plans to operate the ‘60 Plus Village Life School’ in Songak-myeon, and Dangjin will run the ‘Senior Care Content Production and Care Promotion Team’ in Dangjin 3-dong.
Yesan County will promote senior care services at the Jachidolbom Center in Sisan-ri, Daesul-myeon, and Hongseong County will establish a public service platform corporation in the care welfare sector and a living care service hub space in Janggok-myeon.

We will ensure that local residents become the owners of public services to eliminate care blind spots and build a virtuous cycle system that cares for the village and neighbors."
