Police Obtain Arrest Warrant for Chinese Man Who Killed Cohabitant and Stabbed Acquaintance with Knife
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Jo] The Icheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 27th that they have applied for an arrest warrant for a Chinese national, Mr. A (57), who killed his cohabiting partner and also injured a woman he knew by wielding a weapon.
Mr. A is suspected of killing his cohabiting partner at his home at the end of this month and leaving the body unattended. On the morning of the 26th, around 5:50 AM, he is also accused of stabbing a woman in her 40s, Ms. B, a Chinese national he knew, multiple times with a weapon in downtown Icheon and fleeing the scene. Ms. B was taken to the hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition.
The police, after receiving a report that Ms. B had been stabbed, tracked Mr. A and discovered the body of another cohabiting woman in her 40s, Ms. C, a Chinese national, at his residence. Ms. C was found dead from stab wounds.

Mr. A was urgently arrested at a motel in Icheon City at around 10:30 AM the previous day, approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes after the incident occurred. The police are investigating the detailed circumstances of the case.
