Domestic gasoline prices are expected to remain high for the time being due to the impact of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In particular, there are concerns that if the situation prolongs, domestic gasoline prices could potentially surpass the 2,000 KRW per liter mark. The government is considering extending the fuel tax reduction measures to mitigate the shock of rising oil prices.
