Chinese Man Caught After Stabbing Woman with Bladed Weapon... Room Contains Roommate's Corpse as Well
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] A Chinese man who stabbed a woman he knew with a weapon and fled was caught by the police.
On the 26th, the Icheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that they had urgently arrested and were investigating Mr. A, a Chinese national in his 50s, on charges including murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing Ms. B, a Chinese woman in her 40s whom he had known for some time, multiple times with a weapon around 5:50 a.m. in downtown Icheon and then fleeing the scene.
Ms. B was taken to the hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition without life-threatening injuries.
Upon receiving the report and launching an investigation, the police discovered the body of another Chinese woman, Ms. C, presumed to be Mr. A’s cohabitant, at his residence.
Ms. C was found dead from stab wounds.
