Dongdaemun-gu Announces '2022 Comprehensive Plan for Kind Administration' Overcoming Difficult Times with Kindness Together with Residents... Boosting Staff Morale, Providing Kindness Incentives, and Sharing Kindness Cases

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Yoo Deok-yeol) announced the ‘2022 Comprehensive Operation Plan for Kind Administration’ to provide kind, communicative, and open administrative services.
During the difficult times of COVID-19, the district is promoting various systems to overcome these challenges together with residents by encouraging employees to practice kindness through warm words and considerate hearts.
First, to comfort employees exhausted from COVID-19 response and excessive workloads, programs such as emotional change sensitivity training and rest programs will be operated to help employees sincerely practice kind administration.
Additionally, to increase participation in kind administration, incentives will be provided to employees. A kindness mileage system will be operated, granting cultural experience opportunities to employees who accumulate many miles, and cultural gift certificates worth 30,000 KRW per person will be awarded monthly to employees recognized as kind staff by civil petitioners.
Along with this, every Friday morning, ‘Kindness News of the Month’ will be broadcast within the government building to introduce employees’ kind stories. A ‘Compliment Relay’ will continue to discover kind public officials who quietly do their best in their work and treat not only external customers, the civil petitioners, but also internal customers, their colleagues, with kindness and gentleness, encouraging each other.
