The repair and maintenance benefit project is a home repair project targeting owner-occupied households among basic housing benefit recipient households with an income below 46% of the median income (KRW 2,355,697 for a family of four).
Earlier, Pohang City signed a business agreement with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation on the 22nd.
Under this agreement, Pohang City, as the guarantor institution, will bear the project costs necessary for house repair and maintenance, and LH, as the dedicated agency, will carry out overall tasks related to project ordering and supervision.
This year's budget for the repair and maintenance benefit project is KRW 1.8 billion, supporting repair costs for 331 eligible households.
Additionally, for vulnerable residents such as the elderly or disabled, convenience facilities will be additionally installed within limits of up to KRW 500,000 and KRW 3.8 million, respectively.
