Dongshin University-Korea Electric Power Corporation Sign MOU for 'Employment-Linked Talent Development Program' Operation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dongshin University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation announced on the 25th that it signed a "Business Agreement for Operating an Employment-Linked Convergence Talent Training Program" with the Win-Win Cooperation Office of Korea Electric Power Corporation at the university's industry-academic campus.
This agreement was promoted with the purpose of solving the manpower shortage of companies located in Energy Valley.
In addition to the regular curriculum, Dongshin University will organize and operate theoretical and technical education, field training, and case-based courses reflecting the educational demands of companies residing in Energy Valley.
Korea Electric Power Corporation will support the education budget, promotion of the curriculum and recruitment of students, review of curriculum design, and lecture operations.
Through this, they plan to focus on ▲ nurturing convergence talents in the new energy industry with leadership and insight ▲ strengthening employment of local talents in local companies ▲ cultivating practical field-oriented talents required by local companies.
Choi Hyo-seung, head of Dongshin University's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, said, "We hope to prevent the outflow of local talents and contribute to solving the manpower shortage of companies relocating to Innovation City and companies residing in Energy Valley."
