Geuinmo, Mayor of Geochang County, Takes the First Baton in the 'COVID-19 Spread Prevention Challenge'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has launched the 'COVID-19 Spread Prevention Challenge' to build a consensus among residents participating in social distancing.
The first participant in this challenge was the county governor. On the 24th, Gu In-mo, the governor of Geochang-gun, promoted adherence to personal quarantine rules to prevent the spread of Omicron and started the campaign to overcome the sporadic COVID-19 cases occurring in the region together.
Governor Gu In-mo said, "As the slogan of this campaign goes, 'If not you and me, then who will protect it?' Let us overcome COVID-19 by following basic quarantine rules such as social distancing, wearing masks, and washing hands."
Governor Gu In-mo nominated Nam Gi-jae, the chief of Geochang Police Station, as the next participant in the challenge and passed the baton.
