According to the Gwangju Bukbu Police Station, a report was received on the 24th at around 11 a.m. that a campaign poster for the 20th presidential election posted on the outer wall of the second parking lot of Malbau Market in Buk-gu had been damaged.
The poster was found with the face area damaged by a sharp tool.
The police are currently investigating the detailed circumstances by analyzing nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and witness statements based on the situation of the poster's damage.
