According to the "Global Consumer Insights Survey" published on the 24th by PwC, the global network of Samil Accounting Corporation, which surveyed the consumption and purchasing behaviors of global consumers including Korea, 66% of respondents who received the vaccine expressed an optimistic view of the future, while only 43% of unvaccinated respondents answered positively.
Flexible work arrangements were also confirmed to have a positive effect on consumers' economic optimism. Respondents working from home were 10% more optimistic about the economy than those commuting to work, and those working in a hybrid manner responded that they were 9% more optimistic than those who did not.
