All-Out Effort to Minimize Complaints: Targeting 7 Aggregate Extraction Sites in Haebwo and Wolya Areas
Collaboration Among Construction, Environment, and Related Departments... 15 Violation Cases Detected
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeonnam Hampyeong-gun conducted a comprehensive inspection of the inland aggregate extraction sites.
On the 23rd, according to the county, a joint inspection team was formed with departments related to construction and environment to supervise and crack down on seven aggregate extraction sites in the Haebo and Wolya areas.
This inspection was carried out to minimize complaints that have been repeatedly occurring near aggregate extraction sites recently, such as dust scattering, dump truck speeding, and unrehabilitated areas.
The inspection targeted seven aggregate extraction sites in the Haebo and Wolya areas. The county conducted checks on 10 major items, including compliance with extraction depth, installation of dust covers, and operation of wheel washing facilities.
The inspection found a total of 15 violations, including one case of exceeding extraction depth, two cases of missing quality test reports, and four cases of inadequate boundary markings.
The county plans to impose strong administrative measures, such as suspension of aggregate extraction, on the businesses where violations were detected according to relevant laws.
