The experiential university Dongmyung University Future Convergence College Regional Future Center has started talent donation through two living labs composed of adult learners aged 30 and above from the Department of Welfare Management and the Department of Seon Meditation Healing for local youth and marginalized groups.
The WITH YOU team of five mature students from the Department of Welfare Management conducted a total of three sessions on the 15th, 18th, and 22nd, providing programs aimed at improving information utilization skills and reducing loneliness and depression for marginalized residents in Yongho-dong, Nam-gu, Busan.
The Blue Jeans team of three mature students from the Department of Seon Meditation Healing operated programs including etiquette, tea ceremony, and meditation to heal unstable mind and body for youth at the Busan Geumjeong-gu Youth Recovery Center run by Mansasa Youth on the 11th and 18th. They will also operate on the 25th, making a total of three experiential sessions.
The Dongmyung University Regional Future Center also runs field-oriented non-degree courses linked between the university and local community, such as living labs for adult learners, smart device usage for local residents, tea and meditation, and Eastern psychological counseling.
