Wanju-gun, Early Start of Small-Scale Regional Development Projects
Village Road Paving and Drainage Improvement Completed Before Farming Season
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 22nd that it will ensure the completion of small-scale regional development projects promoted through resident-participation budget projects before the farming season.
Small-scale regional development projects are closely related to residents' daily lives, such as village road paving and drainage improvement, and are expected to have a significant impact on residents with relatively low project costs.
In particular, by actively collecting residents' opinions during project selection and detailed design, residents' perceived satisfaction is high.
Wanju County implemented 8.5 billion KRW worth of 85 projects in 2020 and 1.6 billion KRW worth of 72 projects in 2021.
This year, it plans to implement 10.2 billion KRW worth of 102 projects.
The county added that the detailed designs have been completed and the projects are being smoothly promoted so that construction can begin after the winter season.
