[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangdong-gu (Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) has surpassed 1,000 cumulative visitors within 100 days of opening the Gangdong Village Media Support Center, established to support residents' media activities.
The Gangdong Village Media Support Center spans a total floor area of 346.63㎡ and consists of a video studio, radio studio, media study room, one-person media room, editing room, and media communication room. It is equipped with studio facilities and media equipment that are usually difficult to access, allowing for both hobby activities and production practice.
Since its opening on November 11 last year, the center has recorded 375 online homepage members, about 7,000 visitors, and over 430 program participants, showing strong interest in the center.
The center offers various education and experience programs to strengthen residents' media capabilities, including video production and editing, SNS utilization courses, announcer, DJ, and voice actor experiences.
Additionally, upon completing the regular membership course, members can rent content production spaces or filming and sound equipment for a nominal fee.
Furthermore, this year, the center plans to promote networking projects to activate communities by encouraging residents with common interests to voluntarily form groups through media.
Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, stated, “The Gangdong Village Media Support Center is a space wide open to all residents who want to learn about media or create content themselves. In an era where non-face-to-face communication using media is everyday life, we will support neighbors with common interests to meet and activate communities through media.”
Programs scheduled for March at the Gangdong Village Media Support Center include ▲I am now a YouTuber (basic) ▲Gangdong Village Newsletter made with Mirae Canvas ▲Making short-form videos to become an SNS insider ▲Creating my own emoticons ▲Today, I am the broadcasting team ▲Radio DJ experience.
