Hamyang-gun to Support Education Expenses for Drone and Heavy Equipment Certification Acquisition
Drone up to 2 million KRW, Heavy Equipment up to 800,000 KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is launching a support project for certification acquisition education expenses and is recruiting candidates who wish to obtain certifications for drones, forklifts, excavators, and other heavy equipment until the 28th.
This project was prepared to actively respond to the increasing demand for skilled workers in the agricultural and industrial sectors.
Regarding support for acquiring heavy equipment certifications, the project is being promoted to train skilled workers in preparation for large-scale job creation at the Coupang logistics center planned to be built in the Baekcheon and Singwan districts of Hamyang-gun.
Eligibility requires applicants to be residents of Hamyang-gun as of the announcement date and aged between 19 and 64. On the condition that they obtain the certification, up to 2 million KRW will be supported for a total of 20 people for drone certifications, and up to 800,000 KRW will be reimbursed for actual education expenses for a total of 100 people for heavy equipment certifications, divided into forklifts and excavators under 3 tons and over 3 tons.
