Starbucks Engages 150 Partners Nationwide in Local Cultural Heritage Preservation Activities

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Starbucks Korea announced on the 18th that it will engage in cultural heritage preservation activities throughout this month by visiting regional cultural heritage sites such as Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Daejeon Dongchundang, Incheon Hyanggyo, and Busan Geumjeongsanseong, together with over 150 partners nationwide in collaboration with the Korea Cultural Heritage Keepers Association.
As the first event of the February cultural heritage preservation activities, on the 14th, they visited Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and conducted plogging (picking up trash while jogging) around Hwaseong and Suwoncheon with about 20 partners from the Suwon area. On the 15th, about 20 partners from the Daejeon area carried out a cleanup activity around Daejeon Dongchundang, Sodaeheon, and Hoyeonjae traditional houses, and on the 17th, partners from the Incheon area visited Incheon Hyanggyo to conduct volunteer activities.
Considering the safety of the partners, both tours and volunteer activities for the cultural heritage preservation were conducted in small groups while strictly adhering to social distancing and other quarantine guidelines.
