This completed Yoon candidate's 'One Team' puzzle.
After meeting with Yoon candidate at a cafe in Yeouido, Seoul, in the afternoon, former lawmaker Yoo told reporters, "I will cooperate while serving selflessly for regime change."
He added, "Since I met Yoon candidate today, I made a few requests," emphasizing, "I told him to place importance on economic issues even after winning. I asked him to adopt strategic policies for a growing economy again."
He further explained, "Regime change is important for now, but regime change is always a means," and said, "After regime change, a successful government must be formed to create a better world and advance the history of the Republic of Korea. I asked him to play such a role."
In response, Yoon candidate said, "As I have officially started the election campaign, I feel like I have gained a great ally from senior Yoo's encouragement."
Yoon candidate also said, "He is a senior in our party, a valuable asset, and the party's top economic expert. His words that he will spare no support and encouragement not only for election victory but also for a successful government in the future gave me strength," adding, "Senior Yoo has always led conservative innovation based on a fair economy, warm conservatism, and a firm security perspective. I believe his encouragement and support will provide the public with enough confidence that 'regime change will lead to a successful government,' not just a definite election victory."
When asked about 'opposition unity' in the following Q&A session, former lawmaker Yoo replied, "I have personal thoughts, but I will leave that to the candidate," and added, "It doesn't seem appropriate to cause confusion by expressing my personal opinion."

The meeting between Yoon candidate and former lawmaker Yoo, who competed in the People Power Party's presidential primary, was about 100 days after November 5. It is analyzed that former lawmaker Yoo, who had been keeping a low profile, appeared due to the ruling party's 'love call.' When the Democratic Party of Korea emphasized a unified government and suggested 'appointing former lawmaker Yoo,' he firmly drew a line. Former lawmaker Yoo said that day, "The official election campaign has started, and strange rumors keep coming up, so I thought it was my duty to clearly reaffirm my position to the public in case the candidate might worry, so I decided to meet and speak like this."
