So far, Gyeongsan City has saved 8.9 billion KRW in budget through contract cost reviews and routine audits on a total of 272 projects worth 240.9 billion KRW, including various construction works, services, and goods purchases.
This achievement resulted from customized cost reviews considering on-site conditions and a thorough examination of the appropriateness of estimated price calculations, designs, and construction methods.
Last year, to improve the efficiency of contract cost review work, the city published a ‘Technical Audit Practical Training’ booklet and distributed it to employees for use in their tasks.
