Jeonju City Expands 'Jeonju-style Love Sharing Caregiving Expense Support Project'
Support Amount Increased from 200,000 Won to 490,000 Won
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City has decided to reduce the caregiving cost burden for low-income patients undergoing inpatient treatment.
According to the city on the 17th, Jeonju Saram, a welfare foundation of Jeonju City (Chairman Lee Byung-kwan), will expand the support amount for the "Jeonju-style Love Sharing Caregiving Cost Support Project" from the previous maximum of 200,000 KRW (20,000 KRW per person, up to 10 days) to 490,000 KRW (up to 70,000 KRW per day, up to 7 days).
The "Jeonju-style Love Sharing Caregiving Cost Support Project" is a program that supports caregiving costs for basic livelihood security recipients undergoing inpatient treatment to reduce their economic burden and help them return to a healthy daily life.
Applications can be made at the local community service center within 60 days after discharge, and the foundation reviews and finalizes the support recipients.
Jeonju Saram, the Jeonju City Welfare Foundation, is promoting various welfare projects to lead Jeonju-style welfare policies for the happy lives of Jeonju citizens, including △ Jeonju-style SOS Emergency Support Project △ Jeonju Saram Bank △ Our Neighborhood Housing Improvement Project △ Welfare Ecosystem Construction Project △ Financial Welfare Counseling Project.
