KAMCO Shares State Property Management Expertise with Asia-Pacific Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Sim Nayoung] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) conducted an online lecture on the "Efficient Management and Disposal of State-Owned Assets" on the 16th for budget officials from international organizations such as the Asia-Pacific Economic Management Network Association (PEMNA), the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank. In the lecture, KAMCO shared laws and guidelines related to state-owned assets, management know-how, and case studies. KAMCO is entrusted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance with the management and disposal of general state-owned properties, overseeing approximately 720,000 parcels nationwide. In 2019, KAMCO established a dedicated research organization for state-owned assets and public development to explore development and utilization plans for state-owned assets.
